A young girl was arrested Tuesday evening in Nain after allegedly pushing a man to the ground and kicking him several times while attempting to steal his beer.
The girl, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was held in custody for a bail hearing today on charges that include robbery and breach of probation.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. on a local road. The male victim required treatment for his injuries from the Nain clinic.
