The Cuffer Prize 2009 shortlist has been announced:

  “A Little Bit of Wallpaper” by Christopher House, Port Union
  “Value” by Samantha Miles, Mount Pearl
  “Holes to China” by Chad Pelley, St. John’s
  “Songs My Grandfather Taught Me” by Josh Pennell, St. John’s
  “How I Know, I Suppose” by Judy Tobin, St. John’s
  “One For Sorrow” by Deborah Whelan, Mount Pearl
  “The Inland Seas” by Paul Whittle, St. John’s

The winners will be announced during the launch of "The Cuffer Anthology," a
selection of stories from last year's Cuffer Prize competition, Nov. 12 at
the Johnson Geo Centre in St. John's from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
