A 37-year-old man was held in the city lockup overnight after being arrested a second time for impaired driving.
When Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Charter Avenue in St. John's, the accused was detained and brought to RNC headquarters for the breathalyzer.
The same man had been charged with impaired driving earlier in the evening after being involved in an accident and was released.
