Deer Lake man charged with drug-trafficking offences

A 41-year-old Deer Lake man was arrested Thursday night and charged with drug-related offences after the vehicle he was driving was pulled over by police.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and RCMP street drug team made the arrest.
The accused faces three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking morphine, percocets and oxycodone.
He was released from custody to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook in January.
