Serena Ryder concert next week

Juno Award winner Serena Ryder will return to St. John’s for an intimate solo performance, in support of her latest release is it o.k. (EMI), at the Delta Ballroom in St. John’s Thursday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m.
Known for her powerful vocal range, Ryder hails from the small town of Millbrook, Ontario, and has already earned a Canadian Gold record, the 2009 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year, the 2008 Juno Award for New Artist of the Year and a number one holiday single for “Calling To Say.”
Ryder has also performed on Bravo! TV's “Live at the Rehearsal Hall” and logged multiple weeks on the Top 200 album. Her late 2006 debut If Your Memory Serves You Well was propelled by the single “Weak in the Knees'” earned her a GOLD Single award.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of show (including tax) and are available at all Ticketpro outlets, by phone at 1-888-311-9090 and online at www.sonicconcerts.com. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
