Navy destroyer slated for dismantling arrives in Nova Scotia port

The first of two old Canadian navy destroyers slated for dismantling at a Nova Scotia shipyard has arrived in Pictou harbour.
After two days under tow, HMCS Gatineau made port Thursday after leaving Halifax on Tuesday.
Aecon Fabco is doing the dismantling.
The second ship, HMCS Terra Nova, could arrive on Sunday.
The dismantling project is expected to be completed by next September.
