Small turnout in advance polls

The Telegram

A total of 219 people voted in advance polls Saturday for the Terra Nova byelection, according to the province’s office of the chief electoral officer.
The number of eligible voters in the district is 8,282.
The byelection to fill the seat, vacated last month when former health minister Paul Oram retired from politics, is set for Thursday.
