Whatever Bud from Newfoundland writes: McDonald's doesn't make enough money to do this themselves? Every one of the fast food places has collection boxes on the counter for some charity .The public pays there and pays again in taxes. They collect millions in these boxes, donate a minimal amount to (their own) charity, then get to claim it as a charitable donation (that they didnt give a dime to)These complanies actually do NOTHING but get the credit for it.It's the oldest trick in the book.People, wake up!! If you want to do something charitable to make yourself feel better,go do some volunteer work.Stop lining the pockets of these huge, rich companies.
