Steve Miller Band coming to province 
The Telegram
The Steve Miller Band is coming to Newfoundland and Labrador as part of its Atlantic Canada tour.
The band will play at the Corner Brook Pepsi Centre Monday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m., and at Mile One Centre in St. John’s Tuesday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale Saturday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. from the Pepsi Centre Box Office in Corner Brook (by phone 637-1233, online at ticketpro.ca, or Pepsicentre.ca) and from Mile One Box Office in St. John’s (phone 576-7657; toll free at 1-800-361-4595 online at admission.com or visit Mileonecentre.com).
Tickets are $78.54 including tax, plus surcharge. A limited number of Gold Circle Seats are available at $101.14 including tax plus surcharge.

Jennifer from St. John's writes: this is great news. Miller was a rock icon in the 70s. The Joker and Rock N Me still get tons of airplay on rock radio. for those of you that want to poke fun at these old rockers, keep in mind that the reason these oldies are still touring is because there is still very much a market for their music. 70s rock is way better than most of the music that came out in the 90s and 2000s. Miller and Garfunkel will likely sell out, while Snoop Dogg was half empty.
