The word continues to get out about the uniqueness of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The province was recently profiled by a major American basic cable and satellite television news channel.

Holly Firfer visited the province for CNN’s Travel Luxe feature.

Among the places she went was Fogo Island, where she interviewed Fogo Island Inn owner Zita Cobb.

As well, Firfer also visited Raymond’s Restaurant in downtown St. John’s, speaking with executive chef and co-owner Jeremy Charles, and also went on an excursion with Capt. Barry Rogers of Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours.

The piece is dubbed ‘Far away from far away: Newfoundland’.
