Photos capture last day of iconic St. John’s business

Here’s what he had to say in his Facebook post:

“Today, Templeton's, in downtown St John's, Newfoundland, closed it's doors after 150 years in business. It was a unique and old fashioned, family owned paint and hardware store that specialized in wonderful, knowledge-based service. I have shopped there for over 30 years. I'll miss them as will many other customers. My best to John and Dave Templeton and their staff.”
