The bright, 5,000-square-foot showroom is simply bursting with some of the most exciting home décor items you’ll find anywhere, including contemporary furniture, rugs, bedding, ready made and custom draperies and blinds, lighting, accessories and even designer wallpaper.
Owned and operated by interior decorator Tammy Clarke-Organ, and named after her two daughters, Madison Mackenzie Home specializes in urban contemporary style, selecting and creating the kind of looks you might find in large, urban centres.
Clarke-Organ and her talented team are constantly searching for new design ideas and products to bring home to Newfoundland. As interior decorators and ‘curators’ of the latest in colour, design, texture and ideas, they are also highly approachable and just love to help customers create exactly what they’re looking for.
“We love what we do, especially when it comes to helping our customers create a space they just can’t wait to come home to,” says Clarke-Organ.
In the showroom
The large, bright showroom is always changing, featuring new looks and new products Clarke-Organ and her team have discovered here in Canada and around the world.
Whether it’s the modern trends of Zuo, finely crafted designer furniture from British Columbia-based Van Gogh Designs, or new, locally sourced nursery art from Love Bundles, Madison Mackenzie Home seeks out quality brands you won’t find anywhere else.
And DIY is definitely not off the table! “We’ve seen a trend in upcycling, so we recently started up our popular FAT Paint classes again, where customers can learn how to use this incredible chalk-style paint, created by a brother-sister duo in B.C.,” says interior stylist Tracy Thistle. “It’s so much fun to watch our customers discover their inner designer and upcycle!”
