There’s been another armed robbery at a Marie’s Mini Mart location, the second in less than a week.
The robbery occurred at about 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Marie’s location at the intersection of Dunn’s Road and Topsail Road. Police are on the scene interviewing the store clerk and other patrol units are cruising the area of Park Avenue in Mount Pearl.
A bystander told the Telegram that the suspect was apparently armed with a knife when the robbery occurred.
Another Marie’s Mini Mart was robbed three nights ago on Hamlyn Road.
Both incidents are under investigation.
