The incident occurred at the intersection of New Gower Street and Barter’s Hill at just after 9 p.m. The female pedestrian did not suffer serious injuries but had to be assisted to a waiting ambulance by paramedics where she was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car could be seen speaking to police on scene. Roads were wet and there was a light drizzle falling at the time of the collision.
