B.C. man arrested in Corner Brook for alleged impaired driving

Corner Brook, N.L. — Shortly before midnight Friday, RNC  officers in Corner Brook responded to a report that a vehicle had struck a guardrail and was stopped in a parking lot of a building.

A witness at the scene identified the vehicle.

A 62-year-old resident of British Columbia was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refusal to comply with a demand made by a police officer to provide a breath sample for analysis.

He was to be released later today (Saturday) to appear in provincial court at a later date.
