C.B.S. youth arrested following armed robbery

A C.B.S. youth was arrested on Monday night following an armed robbery in one of the town’s convenience stores.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary used the K-9 unit to track the youth and after a two-hour search, resulted in the arrest.
The youth was charged with armed robbery, failing to pay a taxi fare and numerous breaches of court orders.
The RNC wishes to thank witnesses who provided critical information that helped lead to the arrest.
