HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, NL – A 28-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a robbery at a business in Happy Valley-Goose Bay last week.

At around 10 p.m. on Friday, the RCMP responded to a call at White Crescent Variety whereby a suspect had fled the scene with a sum of cash.

The police investigation identified Keith Learning of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as a person of interest.

He was arrested and charged with robbery, disguised with intent to commit an offence and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking on Saturday.

Learning was held in custody and made a court appearance Monday morning.
