SHESHATSHUI, NL - The RCMP is advising motorists that driving conditions are bad on Route 520 between Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Sheshatsiu due to the ongoing winter storm.

Heavy snow and strong winds are causing poor visibility and heavy drifting in places. The weather is impacting efforts by highway maintenance crews.

If you do not need to travel, it's best to stay off the highway, according to police.
