The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has released security footage of two people smashing out the windows of a vehicle as part of its investigation into a complaint of mischief in the east end of St. John’s.

On Thursday, Feb. 22 at around 10:30pm, police were called to a home on Savanah Park Drive in St. John’s to a report that several individuals had just used bats to smash all the windows out of a car in the complainant’s driveway.

The incident was captured on a CCTV camera which shows two individuals get out of a truck, smash the windows out of the parked vehicle, get back into their truck and speed off. There appeared to be at least three people in total in the truck including the driver, who did not get out. The truck was described by witnesses as dark with a truck cap.
