Goulds man charged with impaired driving, resisting arrest

A traffic stop in Goulds netted a 60-year-old man a number of charges including drinking and driving Monday night.
The RNC made the discovery after pulling over the man’s vehicle around 7 p.m. Monday evening. He subsequently failed the breathalyzer and was charged with that offense in addition to three counts of driving while prohibited and resisting arrest.
He was taken to lockup and held overnight pending a court appearance on Tuesday. In addition, his vehicle was impounded.
