LABRADOR AND NOTHERN PENINSULA, NL – Labrador-Grenfell Health (LGH) has confirmed that Barbara Molgaard Blake will be stepping down as interim CEO.

Blake, who first filled in as interim CEO on Aug. 1, 2017, after the resignation of previous CEO Tony Wakeham, will leave the organization effective March 2 and will be taking a new position with the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information.

Chief communications officer Allan Bock says Blake is stepping down for personal reasons and the process to recruit a new CEO is underway.

In an emailed response to the Northern Pen, LGH says recruitment efforts are being conducted by the Independent Appointments Commission.
