Ticket prices for the new American Hockey League team will range from $16 to $26 per game, before taxes, it was announced today.
Over a full 38-game home schedule, that equates to $608 to $988.
The new NHL team in Winnipeg officially announced during a news conference today at Mile One Centre in St. John’s that St. John’s will be its AHL affiliate starting next season. The length of the deal is three years.
While ticket prices were announced, there was no word on what the St. John’s team will be called.

The first phase of season ticket reservations will be for a three-year commitment, and former season ticket holders for the St. John’s Maple Leafs and St. John’s Fog Devils, and current Mile One Hot Seat holders will be given priority.
The second phase of season ticket reservations will be for fans who wish to make a commitment of less than three years. Previous season ticket holders and Hot Seat ticket holders will be given priority within this group.
Individuals willing to commit to a three-year package will be able to go online (www.ahlisback.com) starting noon Saturday. New season ticket holders will be placed in a queue on a first-come first-served basis.
After previous priority ticket holders are accommodated, new ticket holders will be given the opportunity to choose seats. Details on the seat selection process will be released in the coming weeks.
