Missing teen located

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it has successfully located Destiny Hart and have ensured her safety and well-being.

The RNC said in a news release it would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating a missing 14-year-old female in the St. John’s area.

Destiny Hart was reported missing Tuesday, according to the RNC. Through the course of the investigation, police said it has been determined that she was last seen Tuesday, but her current whereabouts are unknown.

She’s described as being approximately 5 feet, seven inches tall, 140 lbs with blue eyes, dark hair and glasses.

The RNC Major Crime Unit is continuing the search and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). People can also provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
