A Dartmouth, N.S. man was remanded in custody at a bail hearing late Thursday afternoon in Corner Brook provincial court in relation to charges of credit card fraud at the Pasadena Foodland store earlier in the week.

According to the Deer Lake RCMP,  48-year-old William James Lewis was arrested Wednesday night by Flowers Cove RCMP and taken to the Deer Lake detachment.

RCMP officers are advising business owners to be cautious in their daily transactions as several subjects travelling throughout the province have been arrested over the past week for alleged incidents of credit card fraud involving thousands of dollars.
