UPDATE: Missing man located

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has located Gregory Parkes who was reported missing earlier this week.

Police say his safety and well-being has been ensured.

The RNC says it would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.

Police in St. John’s are asking the public for information to help locate a man who has been missing since Tuesday.

A missing person report for Greg David Parkes, 30, was filed on Wednesday. In a news release, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said Parkes may be driving a white 2006, four-door Pontiac Pursuit with a licence plate number HNF 488.

Police describe Parkes as 5”8” and 160 pounds with blue eyes and short, black hair with a few grey strands. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers.
