RNC seek public assistance in break and enter investigation

The RNC is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in relation to a break-in at a home on Gooseberry Place in St. John’s.

On Saturday, May 24, at about 9:25 p.m., RNC officers responded to Gooseberry Place for a report of a break and enter in progress.

The homeowner was home at the time of the incident and heard a noise upstairs in the residence. The suspect had entered the home and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this break, enter and theft to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com. The RNC is also issuing a reminder that any person in possession of stolen property can be charged under the Criminal Code of Canada.
