No one was injured in an accident on Penney Crescent in St. John’s about 9:35 p.m. Tuesday that saw a pickup truck hit a parked car, which then hit a second parked car that was sent through a closed garage door of a house where it struck two parked motorcycles.

The driver of the pickup — a 39-year-old man — was charged by the RNC with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.

He will appear in provincial court at a later date.
