A two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Topsail Road in Mount Pearl late Tuesday afternoon.

One car had its hood smashed up, having come to a stop on an island at the corner of the intersection. The other vehicle involved was parked on the curb close by.

An absorbent material was used to soak up fluids leaking from one of the vehicles. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was on the scene conducting interviews.

The Telegram could not confirm whether the accident resulted in any injuries. Traffic was not impeded by the accident.
