Threats and assault keep RNC on the hop

It was a reatively slow 24 hours for the RNC Saturday but not without its incidents.

Saturday afternoon RNC patrol officers arrested a 43 year old male in the center area of the city for uttering threats. He was taken to the lockup and held for court.

An 18 year old male was arrested Saturday night after police received a complaint of a domestic disturbance at a center city residence in St. John's. The male was charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, property damage and breach of probation. He was taken to the lockup and held for court.
