Baseball bats and bear spray in inner city racket

A group of people are feeling the sting of an incident in a centre city neighbourhood of St. John's Friday night.

A group of people were bear sprayed and treated at the scene by paramedics.

 At the same time, officers were also dispatched to a report of a group of people attacking an in transit motor vehicle with baseball bats in the same neighborhood. The damaged vehicle was later located in another nearby neighborhood. No injuries were reported.
