Lady Cove succeeds at World Choir Games

Lady Cove Women’s Choir has won third place at the Wolrd Choir Games in Latvia for the Female Choirs category.

On the group's Facebook page there is a picture of their medal along with a note of pride and appreciation.

 “Taking this moment to acknowledge the Lady Covers who couldn't be with us on this trip to Latvia,” the message reads. “Your hearts have been ever present with us on this musical journey and this success belongs to each and every member of our choir family! Check out our medal! Xoxo.”

 This is the 8th World Choir Games which is considered the world’s largest choir competition. It’s taking place in Riga, Latvia.

Lady Cove Choir was founded in 2003 and is named after the community Lady Cove on the east coast of the island near Clarenville.
