The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says Angela Nixon, 78, who was reported missing Monday in the Goulds area of St. John's, had been located.

In a news release this morning, the RNC said she has been located and is safe.

Woman reported missing may have dementia: RNC

Police in St. John’s are looking for help to locate a woman with health problems who was reported missing in Goulds Monday.

Angela Nixon, 78, was reportedly last seen Monday morning at approximately 9:10 a.m. on Spruce Grove Avenue. A missing person report was filed a few hours later.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said Nixon may be experiencing the early stages of dementia. She also has heart problems.

Police describe Nixon as 5-foot-5 and 145 pounds with short grey hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing brown pants and a pink three-quarter-length coat.
