RNC investigating another house fire in St. John’s

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating another house fire in St. John’s overnight.

The fire on Boncloddy Street in the centre of St. John’s was reported to police around 12:12 a.m. this morning. Firefighters were successful in extinguishing the blaze.

The RNC said there were no injuries but moderate damage to the home. It’s fire investigation unit is investigating the cause and further details are expected to be released later today.

Arson is suspected in two house fires in the centre of the city over the weekend, on Beaumont Street and Goodridge Street.
