The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s police dog Edge modelled a new ballistic vest before members of the media today in St. John’s.

The vest was donated by Jeff green of Lagreeco Inc.

Supt. Joe Boland, police dog handler, and Const. Kevin Morgan and Green were present at the event this morning at RNC headquarters in St. John’s.

The vest is both bullet proof and slash proof to protect the dog from armed perpetrators. It was specially fitted for Edge when he reached his adult size.
