B.C. fire smoke wafts into Alberta, Saskatchewan; air quality advisories issued
CALGARY — Wildfires burning in British Columbia are causing smoky conditions in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Fresh fallen snow and some people just can't resist the urge to get out their snowmobiles, but one man found out early this morning that it's illegal to snowmobile on a city street.
A 24-year-old man had his snowmobile impounded by police early this morning after driving it in downtown St. John’s.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says around 2 :10 a.m., officers arrested the man snowmobiling on Water Street.
He was issued a seven-day driving suspension and his snowmobile was impounded.
