Woman charged with multiple thefts

A woman who went on a bit of a shoplifting spree has been charged by police after being arrested Friday evening. 

 

Just after 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a report of a theft at a business on Kenmount Road in St. John’s.  

A 31-year-old female that was being held by security after being caught shoplifting.  

She has since been charged with two counts of theft under $5000 after police determined that she was responsible for another theft earlier in the afternoon. 

She was released to appear in court at a later date.
