Fewer than half of NLers support Muskrat Falls: poll

Support for the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project development has declined in the past six months, according to the most recent survey conducted by Corporate Research Associates Inc.

.Just under one-half of Newfoundland and Labrador residents (55 per cent, down from 54 per cent in May 2016) completely or mostly support the Muskrat Falls development, while one-half (48 per cent, up from 35 per cent) mostly or completely oppose, and seven percent either do not know or do not offer an opinion on the matter (down from 11 per cent).
