Natuashish man facing firearm charges

Royal Canadian Mount Police officers arrested a man for discharging a weapon while walking in the Innu community of Natuashish on Saturday.

When Jevaron Gregoire was located at his home and confronted by officers, he became agitated and uncooperative, forcing officers to use pepper spray to subdue him.

Gregoire faces multiple charges, including careless use of a firearm, reckless discharge, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, assault of a peace officer and breach of the community’s alcohol bylaw.
