If any of the 350 scouts at this weekend’s Scout’s Canada Camp U finds their way off the beaten path, the country’s most famous tracker will be there to help find them.

Terry Grant, better known as the Mantracker on the hit Canadian reality television show of the same name, is Scouts Canada’s Chief Scout and will be on hand for the first two nights of the event being held at Camp Nor’Wes at the eastern edge of Terra Nova National Park.

Camp U is the first province-wide camp following the national organization’s new Canadian Path program. Over the weekend, beavers, cubs, scouts and venturers along with adult scouters , will take part in activities they helped to design including canoeing, pioneering, cooking, beach challenges and shooting air-soft rifles on a range.
