Man arrested in St. John's break-in

A 45-year-old man was arrested after a home was broken into in centre-city St. John's Sunday afternoon. 

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary got the call around 2 p.m. and arrested the man in the area of the home. He was charged with breaking into the residence and causing property damage.

The man was known to the victim and was taken to Her Majesty’s lockup and held for court this morning. (Monday)
