A RCMP release on July 17 said police determined the 24-year-old was the driver of the vehicle and suspected she was impaired by alcohol.

A subsequent release today, July 18, indicated a roadside screening device was administered and the woman was brought back to the detachment for further breath testing.

The driver was issued a 7-day driving suspension and released from custody while the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
