Bicycle-vehicle collision in St. John's sends young girl to hospital Thursday night

The incident occurred at the intersection of Empire Avenue and Freshwater Road and was reportedly a low-speed impact that only resulted in minor injuries to the victim. She was examined by paramedics on scene and hospitalized as a precaution. The incident is under investigation by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
