“I am truly honoured to have been chosen for this important role,” King said in a news release Monday.
“The fall sitting of the House of Assembly will be a busy one. I am looking forward to working with cabinet, caucus and staff to help support the important work done in the legislature. I would like to acknowledge the exceptional job done by former chair Randy Edmunds and thank my colleagues for entrusting me with this important job.”
