Building supplies stolen from Home Hardware in Placentia

The Placentia RCMP are investigating the theft of building supplies from the Home Hardware in Placentia.

Police believe the man responsible for the theft visited the business earlier in the day in this truck.

According to police, a man entered the business’s yard through a hole in the fence on June 5 after hours, approximately 9:50 p.m., and took eight rolls of torch-on roofing material.

The rolls, which are 27-feet long by three-feet wide, are valued at roughly $100 each.

The man is in his late 50s or early 60s and is approximately six-feet tall.

The rolls of torch-on roofing material are worth about $100 each.

Police believe he visited the store earlier in the day in a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Placentia RCMP at 709-227-2394 or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
