UPDATED: There were no serious injuries late Thursday night after a car overturned on Bauline Line in Torbay shortly before midnight.
When firefighters from the Torbay volunteer fire department arrived on scene just before midnight, they found the car lying upside-down in a ditch about a kilometre west of Torbay Road.
No information was available as to how the incident happened but roads were wet at the time.
The RNC said in a statement Friday morning that they have charged a 20-year-old man in connection with the incident. He faces impaired driving charges and failing the Breathalyzer.
He was released to appear in court at a later date, but the vehicle was impounded.
