Car overturns in the Goulds area of St. John's Sunday morning

One woman was injured Sunday morning after the northbound car she was driving veered into a ditch, struck a concrete driveway culvert and overturned.

One woman was injured Sunday morning after the northbound car she was driving veered into a ditch, struck a concrete driveway culvert and overturned.

The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Main Road in Goulds north of Bidgood’s Plaza, leaving the car on its wheels in a residential driveway. The woman was treated on scene by Eastern Health paramedics until police arrived to investigate the collision. Personnel from the Goulds and Mount Pearl stations of the St. John’s Regional fire department also responded. The woman's injuries were not considered serious and car was extensively damaged.
