A 38-year-old Conception Bay South man didn’t have a great New Year’s Day.

The man was arrested for assault, uttering threats and breach of a recognizance stemming from a domestic disturbance around 10 a.m. Monday.

The RNC with help from its K9 unit responded to the call.

The man was taken to lockup and held for an appearance in court on Tuesday morning.
