Copper theft from Wabush business still unsolved

WABUSH, NL – It remains a mystery who stole 8,000 pounds of copper from Big Land Recycling in the Wabush Industrial Park in late March.

The copper was in three- to four-foot lengths and was stored in two recycled oil container tubs. The metal is valued at approximately $25,000.
The theft occurred sometime between Wednesday, March 30 and the following day.
