Corner Brook police investigate theft of books being sold for charity

Police in Corner Brook are investigating a report of theft from a charitable fundraiser.

According to a news release from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, a male suspect stole books that were being sold for donation from a local business. Police did not share the name of the business or the charity in question.

No arrests have been reported. The incident is under investigation.
