Corner Brook Pulp and Paper will be shipping out its largest-ever shipment of newsprint to India next week.

The paper mill has been selling its product to India for some time, but this next shipment will mark the first time such a large load will be shipped there directly from Corner Brook.

In the past, paper has been sent to another location before being sent to its overseas destination.

The shipment will be more than 4,000 tonnes of newsprint, an indication of how Corner Brook Pulp and paper is taking advantage of the increased demand for newsprint in the Asian marketplace.
